Easy Peasy Indian. We absolutely love Indian food. However most of the local restaurants here use A LOT of oil, butter, salt and dairy in their dishes. So we try to make it at home instead.
2 Cups pre-cooked Chickpeas
1 tsp each – Cumin, Turmeric, Cayenne Pepper & Black Pepper
1-2 Cloves Diced or crushed garlic
2 Cups Diced Onions
1 TBSP each – Ginger, Coriander, & Garam Masala
1 Cup Tomato Sauce
2 Cups of Water
1 Cup Diced Tomatoes (fresh or canned)
Put all ingredients in Instapot or Slow Cooker. Mix well.
Set Instapot on Bean/Chili for 10 minutes. Allow a natural release
Set Slow Cooker on High for 1- 2 hours or Low for 3-4 Hours
Serve over rice, naan bread or on its own.
